X: Changes to my study program
Well, hi to whoever is reading this. Before I start writing about the career, I want
to make it clear for you that, in fact, I don’t like it (like I said the pasts
entries), and my opinion will probably be super… You know. Hater.
Dear
journalism fellas. I’m talking specifically to the ones who have the new study
program. You are very lucky! In fact, you’ve got a whole new and complete
program. And I’m going to tell you why. First, you’ve got electives during 3° year
–If you take electives during the 4° too, please correct me. We, the ones with
the old program, are capable to take electives only during 5° year. If you’re
wondering, we don’t have such electives like judicial journalism (I think in
your program is called ‘Tribunales’) and data journalism. You guys have
economic, historic subjects, which will help you make yourself a more complete
journalist. Is true, you’ve got a lot of subjets, even more that we with the
old program have. But is way better.
I think the
length of studies is fine. Five years is enough. The building is also fine, I think.
I would like to add more green areas, but that’s something of the campus, not
just ICEI. We need more spaces with trees, because there’s grass, but when is
hot around we don’t have any shadow from the trees! WHY IS NOBODY PROTESTING
ABOUT THIS?? Ok, just joking.

Teaching
methods… Well, raise your hand if you’ve got, during the career, a tyrannical
professor. I did. Not gonna say names, of course, but I’m just gonna say that you
don’t need to jeopardize your students, just because they don’t get it at the
first time. But not everything is that bad, and of course, not all the professors are like that, it's just a few I think. Except for that, I like the freedom
that ICEI give to their professors to teach in a way they like. With that, we
have more points of view from just one subject.

This campus used to be one of the most beautiful of the university, but with the constructions there are not more trees, is really sad! I have the new program of the filmmaking career and is also way better than the old one.
ResponderEliminarI don´t hate our journalism program, but this week it's was so stressed to me, and the only that I want it's finish the career and burn the old program.
ResponderEliminari love that reading the blogs there is the ones with the new curriculum that are very happy and hopefull, and us, the old bitter ladys with the old curriculum that hates everything

We need desperatily more equipment to record videos or noticies, and I know this year the Icei inverted in more cameras and microphones, but it's not enough.
